Press From Around the Globe: Sweden

We've relocated to the little African island nation of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean!   It was a long and sometimes frustrating process, but we are so happy living and working in this paradise.

Our move to Seychelles has inspired this La Digue island map.  La Digue is a laid back little island about 3 hours from the main island of Mahé where the main mode of transport is by bicycle.  It is where the Seychellois go to holiday.

Couture Maps: United States Illustrated Map

As we are preparing for our relocation overseas, we are feeling a bit nostalgic for our mother country.  Our map of the United States depicts a journey across America which leads to Warwick, Rhode Island, the gorgeous wedding location of our well traveled couple Brianna and Grant. 

Our illustrated map was the centerpiece to their seating chart, and their guest  tables were named after their favorite American locations.  Such a sweet way to personalize their journey together. 

Our Studio is Moving to Beautiful Seychelles!!

We've been warmly received by the people of Seychelles and have been honored with the rare opportunity to set up our studio in this tropical paradise!  We look forward to working from the remote islands and drawing inspiration from this magical place.

In the Press: Vermont Vows

Last year we had the great pleasure of working with the brilliant event planner Belinda Norris of Belinda Norris Events on the wedding of Camden and Rob at the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont.  With Belinda's guidance, our studio created an array of bespoke stationery for the event from pocket fold save the date cards to hand painted invitations, programs and illustrated map tote bags for their out of town guests.

We are delighted to see their gorgeous wedding featured in the current issue of Vermont Vows magazine which includes the invitations and maps we designed for them.  Congratulations to this amazing couple!

Stephannie Barba Weddings: South America

Our studio works with clients around the world, and recently we had the great pleasure of creating wedding stationery for two wonderful couples in South America!  

Ariana and Santiago were married in Panama City, Panama, and their wedding festivities included a grand tour of the city with a stop at the gorgeous Buenaventura Resort, the site of their wedding reception.

Maria and Alex were married in historic Cartagena, Colombia, an old village on the northern coast.  We created their wedding stationery and maps in both English and Spanish language versions. Congratulations to our lovely couples!

The Fine Art of Stationery: Mira Aster

Today I am excited to be showcasing the work of a true artist, Anne Millett of Mira Aster who creates from her Northern California studio and is known for gorgeous stitched invitations and delicate fabric details.  Combining color with pattern and great design, her stationery is some of the best on the planet.

With an admiration for her unique vision, we began collaborating back when we were both New York City girls and since then we have joined forces on an array of projects from wedding and bat mitzvah invitations to personal stationery as well as (my favorite!) signature illustrated maps. 

She has also sewn birth announcements, table number cards, sweet little placecards and even favors (like bookmarks for Oprah's big event!)  Anne has been recognized as one of Modern Bride's Trendsetters, an honor so well deserved!
